Identity system for the Flux Gallery in Glasgow, Scotland meant to house the work of MFA students at the Glasgow School of Art. The brief was to create an identity and collateral. I chose to make an identity for a gallery for the Glasgow School of Art MFA students because they didn't have a permanent home to exhibit their work. The concept was that the gallery would be a modular space with moving and folding walls to adapt to the eclectic range of artwork that would live inside. The building itself looked very gritty and rundown from the outside but would be a source of life and vibrancy inside. The font was created on a strict grid to mimic the tracks the gallery walls run on, and the gray and cardboard collateral with magenta highlights represent the drab exterior with the bright and artistic interior.
